In China's ever growing megacity of Chongqing, skyscrapers sprout from farmland, goats nibble at shrinking grass verges and citizens swim the murky rivers for fish. Tim Franco, a China-based photographer, searches for all that is human in his new book "Metamorpolis" and finds stories of resilience, optimism and hope.

On July 1st, Shanghai-based photographer Tim Franco gave a presentation at Asia Society about his recently published book Metamorpolis, which summarizes the past 5 five years he spent photo-documenting urban growth in Chongqing, one of the fastest growing urban centers on the planet. SinoVision Journal reporter Lani Nelson brings you the story.
